ONE OF OUR STRENGTHS COMES FROM THE INVOLVEMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGHOUT EVERYTHING WE DO.

In March 2020 The RISE Collective brought the AcKnowledge project to City of Westminster College’s Level Two Performing Arts Students. 

AcKnowledge uses spoken word poetry and discussion activities to support young people to find their authentic voice & connect to its power. During the project the students created digital content that captured their spoken word poetry and used live performance to speak their truth to power, to amplify their voices, to influence their community and demand they be acknowledged.

The students who took part each shone and this film created by ex CWC student and RISE filmographer Chaimaa Ormazabal speaks to their honesty, bravery, creativity and talent.
